Selling after Corona? Work out an optimal styling now!

Real estate styling is preparing a house for sale with the aim of making the house more attractive to the widest possible audience of potential buyers, so that it can be sold faster and at a better price. The strengths are emphasized or strengthened and the weaknesses neutralized or removed.

Interest in a well-styled home would increase by 30 to 40%, which could result in a return on sales of up to 10 to 15% higher.

Buyers are not looking for stacks of bricks or square meters of concrete, but for a new “home”, a cozy nest for themselves and their family. A house therefore sells best if it is nicely furnished and beautifully decorated. Although we all think of ourselves to have good imagination and to be able to see through things, it is usually the case that almost all prospective buyers are carried away by their first impression or feeling that they have at a home.

 

 

If you plan to sell your home after the Corona crisis, you might take the time to think about an optimal home presentation? How can you present your home as neutral as possible? Which items can be stored in the attic or in the basement to create more space feeling? After all, spaces that are too overcrowded give a chaotic impression and make the house look smaller. Which walls have a pronounced color and can be painted better and in which color (you may now have time to do those paintings)? Nothing more important than the first impression, so you wonder if it's okay? Maybe take a critical look at the driveway, front garden, entrance hall, front door? Imagine yourself as a buyer and arriving at the house…. What attracts and what deters?

Is your home currently completely furnished? Then consider a “home styling”. Due to the increased interest, a “furnished house” sells faster and at a higher price….
