Young woman from Antwerp designs 'waterbench'

Barbara Standaert from Antwerp has won the Henry van de Velde Public Gold Award with her water bench. That is a combination of a sofa, a planter and a rain barrel. She made this design for her thesis and went looking for a company that wanted to bring her design to the market. You can currently admire her water bench in various places.
